Summer Fruits!

We are celebrating the return of our yummy summer Strawberries and cream flavour popcorn. Sweet, juicy strawberries paired with smooth cream is the perfect combo for us! Here at Tyrrells we like to use natural ingredients to make the tastiest popcorn. Provenance is important to us so we know exactly where every flavour has come from. Read on for some fun ideas to add some seasonal flavours into your snacks.

Fruits sticks

A healthy alternative to grabbing the first chocolate bar you see.

Ingredients:

Marshmallows
Strawberries
Raspberries
Blackberries
Strawberries & Cream Poshcorn
Melted White Chocolate

 

Method

  • Grab some large skewers and thread on marshmallows, pieces of strawberry, raspberries and some strawberries & cream poshcorn.
  • Put all the sticks on a plate and drizzle over some melted white chocolate.
  • Wait 15mins for the chocolate to set, or pop your kebabs in the fridge if you cant wait!

Eton Mess “Poshcorn style”

A healthy alternative to grabbing the first chocolate bar you see.

Ingredients:
Low Fat Crème fraîche
Seasonal fruit (strawberries, raspberries, cherries or blueberries)
Strawberries & Cream Poshcorn (instead of sugary meringue)

 

Method

  • Cut up the fruit and mix with the Crème fraîche and popcorn.
  • Spoon into a large retro trifle dish, or smaller retro style ice cream dishes
  • Top with more popcorn and voilla!

Fruity Popsicles

Tasty, fruity and fresh low fat ice lollies to keep you cool!

Ingredients:
Pineapple
Coconut milk
Local honey
Lime

 

Method

  • Put all of the ingredients into a blender and mix thoroughly.
  • Pour your mixture into an ice lolly mould.
  • Thinly slice a lime and push a slice down the side of each ice lolly
  • Pop in the freezer for 2-3 hours
  • Enjoy the tropical lolly! The piece of lime down the side should look extra cool and if you’re brave you can suck on the icy zest!
